Unfortunately the polarised nature of this topic will lead to the latest bullying allegations to be divided along tribal lines. Meghan may be a bully, but there will be those who will defend her because of the overly attacking nature of the press over small issues and any evidence behind this will be ignored because critics of Meghan have been too willing to use superfluous nonsense to cloud their judgement of her in the past.
Bullying is a serious allegation, and is not to be taken lightly. Unfortunately the nature of how both sides of the political boundary have treated the Markle issue and bullying by authority means it will be defended along polemicised lines, not defending of victims. I can foresee people talking about coincidences of timing with regards to the Markle story, just as Priti Patel apologists did with her. Even if the timing is suspicious, and it has been leaked in a petty rivalry by Royal aides, it shouldn’t detract from the seriousness of bullying allegations.
Nor does Royal hypocrisy over Prince Andrew, whose allegations are still more serious.
