An excellent link BRI to a clip which deserves far more views than it’s getting.
Seems to me that so many media outlets are afraid of giving hard facts about the success of lockdown in lowering infection rates, because they’d rather pander to a confused and reluctant public, instead of giving a lead.
As the presenter points out, there are so many misunderstandings about ‘the science’, like the willingness to believe and retweet the findings of a mere, unreviewed ‘working paper’, simply because it fits somebody’s viewpoint.
The stuff about Sweden, towards the end of the film, is particularly revealing in that respect, and really puts the UK’s response – both in the media and government – to shame.
