OMG you really are getting desperate. Goodness knows how bands ever managed to go to Europe in the old days — The Beatles, anyone — and how on earth have bands managed to tour places like the States? I can assure you, Deerey, that bands don’t know they’re born these days. Any idea how much studio time cost back in the early 1970s? I could now record a multi-track on my home computer for less than the petrol costs to drive to a studio back in those days. Talk about first-world problems.
As for baffling rules and ‘Brexit chaos’, you have to be incredibly naive — or a Guardian reader, perhaps — to assume these are anything new. How on earth do you reckon businesses have imported from and exported to markets outside the EU for the last 40 years? Not than any of you will ever admit or accept any of that, of course.
No-one is arguing this is the most important thing in the universe. It does highlight the disparity between Brexiter arguments and reality, which is why I shared. It’s not the first time Brexiters have rallied against the EU when it was under their control.
Yes, we have been arguing that for four years! We argued this was a reason to stay within the EU and for a softer Brexit with the Single Market after the referendum. Whenever we did all we got was how this was project fear and the EU need us more than we need them so we will get a fantastic deal which will not have bureaucracy and red tape.
I have argued this for years, now you try to spin it round to suit your own ends. You are a disingenuous person to say the least.
