Ooooh, even more bitter and twisted than I imagined; and naive. First, as plenty of the lorry drivers themselves have pointed out the vast majority of them would be going to places other than France and could very easily have been escorted to the Belgian border. Second, by closing the border the French forced the drivers to spend days and nights in their cabs with no sanitation, food or other facilities, in direct contravention of EU rules. I think you’ll find it isn’t just the British public who will be blaming France for what’s happened but most of the rest of Europe as well.
BRI, I always thought you were a reasonable chap but it seems you’ve fallen into the embrace of the left wing, anti-Brexit cabal on here. I won’t insult you the way you’ve insulted me, above, and just say that I find it sad how you’ve lowered yourself to their level.
Disagree with me by all means but if you think it’s pleasant to have been called the things I have by the likes of Gurnelista on here then I pity you. Just take a look back and see the comments made and perhaps you’ll understand why I take the position that I do. Rather than launching personal attacks on me, in future you might then consider taking issue with Gurnelista over his highly personal and disgusting remarks.
Then again it isn’t just me he targets, as you well know. He has absolutely zero understanding or respect for anyone who doesn’t agree with his self-righteous, extreme left-wing views. The lengths he will take to discredit people are extraordinary and the accusations he makes are appalling. All, of course, in total anonymity. What a very sad man he is and what a shame you can’t see this.
