Yes Deereyme66, this has been one hell of a year for many of us mate, and now being alone after 54 years does not help matters as you say, but we just have to get on with things. It will nothelp things next week when my youngest son goes back to the States for seven weeks after coming round every night to stay a couple of hour, but work come comes first.
Northumbiron, I know what you mean regarding your sons busines pal, it must be annoying to be ordered to shut down like he has, I used to own a big pub in Derby which did about 13 x 36 gal barrels per week, so beer did not get the chance to go out of date (I built it up from 4 barrels per wweek, so I must have been more popular those days ha ha). What I meant regarding keg beer was that you could order a large stock because it kept in kegs, where as the cask real ales really had to be shifted within a couple of weeks. But these rules must be lick a knife in the back, just think, it is ok to sit drinking as long as you have a meal in front of you, but when the foot is eaten you cannot sit a have a few beers, you must leave the pub !!!!, so maybe we should just keep eating instead of waiting for an injection to be available to cure this bloody virus.
