OK I only saw the last 5′ intermittently – if there was some family tragedy involved then the reaction was understandable.
But these shows often end with people breaking down over some wallpaper and paint – I just don’t get it.
That’s fair enough and I get your drift about these types of show in general but in this particular case a little girl had been killed in a tragic accident outside the garage of the house and a while after the Dad died of a heart attack in the garage, double tragedy for the family. Best case is probably to move away but financially that is always not possible and therefore the team and the locals did a very good caring job in supporting the family. Tears very much justified on this occasion IMO.
