If you’re not bothered by his background, why try to make something of it and say how it sets him apart from the working class? As if that makes a difference when the working classes did vote for Johnson’s government in many red wall seats. YOU were the one who brought it up with a negative tone; I never have.
I don’t know why you’re trying to make out everyone against you is some bitter socialist who is bound to hate Starmer for being knighted. I have never made an issue of it, only The 99% has before you chimed in. I know it suits you to straw men your opponent, because you project your dogmatic nature on to others, believing everyone critical of your view must be a blinkered lefty.
I, for one, am quite pleased with Starmer as a whole, have not been shy in criticising Labour when I feel it needs to be, and have not said anything to the contrary prior to his leadership. In fact I was very much against it. TwoWrights and others have been far more critical of Labour than you have with the Tories, so some self-introspection is needed here for you before you start accusing others of being ideologically blind, I think. So please don’t put yourself forward as the voice of reason when your only criticism of the Tories and vague and always come with a “what about Labour?” as a greater focal point.
