The testing situation is a joke. People being directed miles away for testing, like below:
Just spoke to a colleague who lives in Skipton, North Yorkshire.
She told me she applied for a Covid test, and was directed to a centre in Northern Ireland.
If that's not insane, it'll do until the real insane arrives.

Yet we shouldn’t ask questions of the government’s handling of this because coronavirus is likely not going to be eradicated and it’s something we will have to live with, which means government aren’t responsible for anything to do with pandemic management. They might as well twiddle their thumbs on this issue, because mitigation of the pandemic is not something we should be doing apparently.
In fact why bother with testing at all? It’s an unnecessary burden on the economy when we should be living life as normal, so all those demanding more testing are the issue, not the government.
