Vader, there was no need to vote Tory, other parties were available.
Maybe your mind was made up by an unelected foreigner, Rupert Murdoch, who has consistently trashed Labour leaders and their policies since before and after Blair. Or maybe it was the Barclay brothers, with the propaganda wing of the Tory party, the Daily Torygraph, dictated from their tax-exiled havens of Monaco and the Channel Islands. No doubt one is a neighbour of our very own patriotic president, Lord Botham.
True patriots all, no wonder they all supported Brexit. It won’t affect them.
Maybe you live in north Lincs? You’re on a fairly low income or in an insecure job? The Labour manifesto would have helped protect almost everyone in low skill, low wage areas, with high numbers of elderly and those on benefits. But, foreigners like Rupert and patriots like the Barclays don’t like that, because they think it makes you lazy and dependent. They want you to think that too.
Of course, what they really fear is both loss of power, and government taxation to redistribute their enormous wealth to the areas and people who most need it. That’s how the media works.
