Fleetwood Town boss Uwe Rosler says his side are prepared for a fight when they face Scunthorpe United on Tuesday evening.
Rosler brings his side to Glanford Park on the back of a 2-2 draw with Rochdale, to face a Scunthorpe team who have lost three League games in succession.
“You know when you go to Scunthorpe you are in for a fight,” Rosler told the Fleetwood official website.
“You know Graham’s team is always very well organised. We know what we will face, but I believe so much in our squad. It’s about us, and how we perform because when we do our business we can beat anyone in this league including Scunthorpe.
“They have invested in ability and in experience – they have had a little wobble but I expect them to bounce back.”
The Cod Army will come up against their former manager, Graham Alexander, who is now in the hot seat at Glanford Park and the Fleetwood boss admitted it will be nice to catch up with his Scunthorpe counterpart.
“I have a good relationship with him”, he added.
“He is a genuine, football man and it is always nice to talk to him. We are facing a top opposition and we need to perform at the top of our level to have a chance.
“With Graham being the former manager from here it means it will always be a special game. I felt he did a good job (last season), and he took over a very ambitious club with a big budget last year and they expected to go up last year.
“They got into the playoffs, and missed out like we missed out. They started the season well, and invested again and they are certainly a top six team this season.”
