David Prutton gives his prediction ahead of Peterborough meeting

Sky Sports pundit and former Scunthorpe loanee David Prutton has given his prediction ahead of the Iron’s clash with Peterborough.

The Football League Highlights Show host expects both sides to come out all guns blazing going forward, as they will look to test the opposition’s leaky defensive unit:

“The stats suggest there should be goals in this one! Scunthorpe have scored more goals than any side outside the top four and have conceded more than any other side in the top half of the table. Peterborough, meanwhile, have scored the most in the division and conceded more than any side in the top half, apart from Scunthorpe,” Prutton told Sky Sports.

“The Posh were given an absolute hiding at home by Barnsley last week while Stuart McCall lost his first game with Scunthorpe in the league last weekend, so both managers will be looking for a big response from their side. Away win for me, though.”

Prutton’s prediction: 1-3 to Peterborough
