Darius Henderson has joined League One rivals Coventry following his release from Scunthorpe United.

He has signed a deal until the end of the season.

Coventry boss Tony Mowbray told the Coventry Telegraph: “Sometimes we can move the ball well and then face seven or eight men and find it difficult.

“Sometimes you need someone in the box to bulldoze his way in and smash it in.

“He’s 34-years old and knows how to use his body.”
