Borthwick-Jackson could feature against Shrews, but Iron sweat on fitness of two

Scunthorpe United left back Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has passed his initial concussion tests and isn’t being ruled out of Saturday’s game with Shrewsbury Town at Glanford Park.

The Manchester United loanee was knocked unconscious whilst defending a dangerous cross in last weekend’s game with AFC Wimbledon at Kingsmeadow, but has recovered well and may be in line to make a surprise start as Stuart McCall’s men welcome The Shrews.

Meanwhile, the Iron are sweating on the fitness of Ryan Colclough & Stephen Humphrys who both picked up knocks in tracking earlier in the week.

Jordan Clarke has returned to training following a hamstring injury, but is unlikely to feature against Salop.
