Andy Butler set to sign for Scunthorpe

According to reports former Scunthorpe United favourite, Andy Butler is set to re-sign for the club on a one year deal.

The centre-back who narrowly missed out on a trip to Wembley with local rivals Doncaster Rovers in their penalty shootout defeat to Charlton, is reportedly set to sign for the Iron after rejecting a new deal.

The Iron currently have no shortage of defenders on the books, Butler’s arrival will surely signal the end for at least one of the club’s current ailing centre-backs.
