SUFC & retail park in traffic talks

Talks have taken place to discuss easing traffic congestion on Saturday when the Iron take on Notts County at Glanford Park.

The North Lincolnshire Shopping Park opens on Friday with a busy opening weekend expected.

The Iron’s general manager David Beeby told the Scunthorpe Telegraph: “We have had talks with the people that manage the parking for the retail park and our safety advice group, and concerns have been raised with highways.

“We encourage our supporters to arrive at the stadium in good time. The stadium and the retail park will have additional people on board to manage traffic.”
