The Telegraph & Argus understands that Scunthorpe and Peterborough are keen on out-of-contract Bradford defender Rory McArdle.

McArdle is one of five considering new Valley Parade deals and is currently on holiday in Cuba while his future is being discussed.

Bradford boss Stuart McCall has recently admitted that he is not too confident on retaining McArdle because he is likely to receive better offers elsewhere.

The 30 year old is the Bantams’ longest-serving player and has made 231 appearances since signing in 2012.
