Mark Robins: Hopefully we’ll have enough to turn out a team

Coventry boss Mark Robins has said that his squad has been ravaged by injury ahead of his return to Glanford Park with the already relegated Sky Blues this weekend.

However the former Iron manager, who is likely to receive a frosty reception from the Scunthorpe faithful, is hoping to finish a poor season on a high by beating his former club.

“We’ve got a lot of injuries, a lot of players suffering with injury. Hopefully we’ll have enough to turn out a team.

“It has been a tough week, because training is disjointed without the numbers. I hope we’ll be okay, we have got to finish it off properly.

“We’ve got off the bottom of the league, which is a small consolation. To finish the season off with a win would be good, and good form over the last ten games of the season.”
