L1: Wolves’ Evans staying at Bradford

Out-of-favour Wolves midfielder Lee Evans will remain on loan at Bradford City until the end of the season after extending his stay at Valley Parade.

The 21-year-old Welshman has made 20 appearances for the Bantams.

Evans still has a year-and-a-half left on his Wolves contract but hasn’t been involved for his parent club since a 2-1 defeat at home to Reading in February.

Bradford boss Phil Parkinson said: “Lee has been a good player for us. We have been pleased with his contribution since he’s arrived at the club.

“He is strong, good on the ball and a great passer. We look forward to working with him now until the end of the season.”
