JMW joins Tranmere

Jennison Myrie-Williams has joined Tranmere on loan until the end of the season, after failing to impress Iron boss Mark Robins.

The winger has been largely frozen out of the squad since Robins suggested he had not warmed up enough before replacing Gary McSheffrey in the FA Cup tie against Worcester and was then forced off himself through injury.

The former Port Vale man has endured a frustrating stint at United, and links up with old manager Micky Adams at Prenton Park.

Adams said: “I’m delighted to bring Jennison back to Tranmere. Having worked with him before he’s a player I know will cause opposition defenders real problems with his pace and power.

“I’d like to thank Scunthorpe United for allowing Jennison to spend the second half of the season with us.”
