Iwelumo set for St Johnstone

Chris Iwelumo is due to sign for Scottish side St Johnstone until the end of the season following his release from Scunthorpe.

The veteran frontman returns to Scotland, where he is best remembered for missing an open goal in a 2008 World Cup qualifier against Norway.

The 35-year-old started out with St Mirren before moving South to enjoy a lengthy career in England.

Iwelumo scored two goals for the Iron including the winner in a 1-0 away win at Southend.
