Iron waiting on Hopper decision as he mulls over Mansfield offer

Scunthorpe boss Graham Alexander has told BBC Radio Humberside that he has not yet spoken with Tom Hopper to find out if he’s made a decision on a potential move to Mansfield Town.

The Iron have accepted a bid for the striker from the ambitious League Two outfit, but he has reported to training ahead of Saturday’s opening game with Wimbledon at Glanford Park.

Meanwhile Alexander confirmed that he does not expect to have any new players in before the weekend.
