Iron looking to seal Henderson deal

United are closing on the signature of veteran striker Darius Henderson, according to reports.

The 6ft 4″ scored 8 times in 23 appearances for Leyton Orient last season, following a spell at Nottingham Forest.

Henderson has been training with Nottingham Forest and was close to a return, but Forest boss Dougie Freedman reluctantly decided against offering him a deal in fear of the  holding up the progress of youth talent Tyler Walker.
