Harris delighted with Wallace capture

Millwall boss Neil Harris is delighted that Scunthorpe United defender Murray Wallace has put pen to paper on a long term deal at the New Den.

The 25-year-old joins The Lions after a three-year stint at Glanford Park, for an undisclosed fee.

“Murray is one we’ve chased since the first day of the summer”, Harris told the press.

“He’s been a great servant to Scunthorpe and been one of the best centre-halves in League One over the last three seasons.

“He’s put in some very strong performances against us over the years and epitomises exactly what Millwall is as a football club in the way he plays.”

“He’s very versatile. I’ve watched him play at left-back a couple of times and every time I’ve been impressed.

“We’re delighted to have him here.”
