Diagouraga joins Plymouth

Toumani Diagouraga, who spent time on trial with Scunthorpe United last month, has joined League One rivals Plymouth Argyle.

The 30-year-old Frenchman has been a free agent since leaving Leeds United by mutual consent in August and joins the struggling Pilgrims on a free transfer.

Scunthorpe boss Graham Alexander decided against offering the former Brentford man a contract last month, as he felt his qualities were too similar to other players in the squad.
