Two of three men arrested after disturbances following a clash between the Iron and Peterborough United in November have appeared before North Lincolnshire Magistrates court.
Darrell Scott, 21, of Spalding was fined £250, with £150 criminal court costs, £80 costs and a £25 Government imposed victim’s surcharge. He was also given a three year football banning order after admitting being drunk at a designated sporting event, at a hearing on December 17.
Christopher Birkitt, 26, also of Spalding, admitted assaulting a PC in the execution of his duty and will be sentenced on January 11.
Jack Favil, 19, of Kingfisher Close, Scunthorpe, is due to appear before North Lincolnshire Magistrates Court on January 7, charged with assaulting a police officer, causing actual bodily harm.
