Chelsea tie for youth side if they can beat Cambridge

chelsea manchester city fa youth cup final 260417w

Scunthorpe United have drawn holders Chelsea in the Third Round proper of the FA Youth Cup, providing they can overcome Cambridge United in their second round tie.

The Iron progressed to the second round to face the U’s following a comfortable 3-0 win over Long Eaton United and a trip to Chelsea is the prize for the winner of next week’s game.

Should Scunthorpe progress, the tie will be played at the Recreation Ground in Aldershot and must be played by Saturday 16 December, unless mutually agreed otherwise.

Chelsea have won the competition for four years in a row.
