Alexander charged by FA

Scunthorpe boss Graham Alexander has been charged in relation to the Gillingham game on 11 March, in which his side conceded three penalties in the space of nine second half minutes.

It is alleged that following the end of the game he used abusive and/or insulting language towards a match official, contrary to FA Rule E3.

Alexander has until 6pm on Friday 17 March to respond to the charge.
